To start with we can work from your architect’s drawings or we can arrange for drawings to be prepared for you from scratch.

 

We want all our customers to be absolutely delighted, so we commit to carrying out all work to an extremely high standard using high quality materials, and promise we’ll never cut corners.  We are fully considerate of your home, property and (importantly) neighbours.

Should you decide to work with Ginger Dog Homes, we commit to the following:

• Fixed price quote:  following a site visit and our initial discussion with you, we will give you a preliminary estimate of costs. 

• Schedule of Works:  once we have more detailed architectural plans we will prepare a detailed Schedule of Works outlining in detail the work to be undertaken, which will enable us to give you a final fixed price quote.

• Contract:  the Schedule of Works will form part of the formal contract we will supply you with, so everything is agreed in writing at the start, including which materials will be supplied, snagging and ‘making good’ after all the work is finished and the payment schedule.

• Building Control:  we will liaise with your Local Authority Building Control department to ensure the relevant site inspections and sign-offs are obtained at each relevant stage, and the final Building Completion Certificate is issued once the work is completed.

• Working hours:  our usual working hours are arriving at your home at 7.45am for an 8am start and finishing at 5pm, Monday to Friday’s and we can work on Saturday’s until 1pm should you require.

• Communication:  we like to have regular face-to-face meetings to keep you fully appraised of how work is progressing and to ensure you are happy and haven’t changed your mind about any aspects.  We are available to talk on the phone Monday to Friday 8am-7pm and Saturday’s 8am-1pm.  Outside of these hours, we will answer messages as soon as possible on the next working day.    

• Uninterrupted work:  we will never leave your project half-finished for weeks while we work on other projects.
